-This Explains It-
This piece was drawn in two time periods of my life. The first one was at the Cleveland Institute of Art, at the end of my fourth year. I really layed down the whole drawing, but the detail on the left half was not fully realized yet. I knew it wasn't done yet but I put it on the back burner, unfinished. I do that alot. Then a couple years later, right after I finished Facemelt, I came back to it. It was like a reaction to working on the Facemelt for so long, that I needed to draw dirctly on something real for a while. Also, you can see there are lots of ribbons and stretched appendages, which was something I started to enjoy doing while I worked on Facemelt.
